At New Horizon, we educate and train individuals and groups to create and sustain small "zones of peace" wherever they go, wherein violence, deceit, and other forms of dysfunctional and counterproductive interacting are replaced with life-affirming, longevity-oriented daily practices.
The Black Bear Mountain Village Project provides experiential education and training at our mountainside center, where we teach the principles and practices of the Groder-Rosen Addiction Development (GRAD) strategies, interwoven with the traditions from the Caucasus Mountains known as Kebzeh.
Our Coffee House Conversations initiative specializes in designing community dialogue programs for civic groups, schools, churches, small businesses, large corporations, and other groups to overcome polarization, teaching participants to find common ground through compassionate listening.
The Truth or Dare Movement carries the ideologies to which we are committed out into the greater community with our current motto being "Think global and national, and act local."
